The ATI2202 is a 340kHz fixed-frequency PWM synchronous step-down regulator delivering up to 2A output current from a 4.75V to 18V input. Two integrated 0.13Ω MOSFET switches provide up to 93% efficiency across a wide load range.
The ATI2202 uses current-mode control for fast transient response and cycle-by-cycle over-current protection, with 1µA typical shutdown current. Adjustable soft-start prevents inrush at turn-on, and over-temperature shutdown protects under fault. It is offered in a thermally enhanced SOP-8 package with a heat-sink solder pad.
