The AT8028 is a high-efficiency synchronous DC-DC step-down switching regulator delivering up to 1.5A output current from a 2.6V to 5.5V input. It operates in PWM mode at 2MHz with an adjustable output from 0.6V to VIN, making it ideal for on-board post-regulation applications.
The AT8028 integrates a synchronous rectifier eliminating the need for a Schottky free-wheeling diode, and provides 100% duty cycle low-dropout operation with up to 97% efficiency. Protection features include thermal shutdown, UVLO, and current-mode control with logic shutdown (IQ<1µA). It is available in SOT23-5.
