AT3408 1A 1.5MHz Synchronous Step-Down DC-DC Converter (5.5V Input)

The AT3408 is a high-efficiency monolithic synchronous buck regulator delivering up to 1A continuous output current from a 2.5V to 5.5V input. It operates at 1.5MHz fixed switching frequency, enabling the use of small external inductors and capacitors while achieving up to 96% efficiency.

The AT3408 supports 100% duty cycle low-dropout operation and PFM mode for high light-load efficiency, making it ideally suited for single Li-Ion battery-powered applications. Protection features include over-temperature, short-circuit, inrush current limit, and soft-start. It is offered in a low-profile SOT23-5 package.
