Product Overview
The ATLS202DEV1.0 is a laser driver evaluation board developed for ATLS202D series diode laser driver modules. It provides a convenient platform for evaluating high-efficiency, low-noise constant-current laser drivers before connecting an actual laser diode.
This evaluation board is designed for use with ATLS500MA202D, ATLS1A202D, ATLS2A202D, ATLS3A202D, ATLS4A202D, and ATLS6A202D laser driver modules. These drivers are designed for driving diode lasers with low-noise constant current, high reliability, zero EMI, and a compact DIP package.
The ATLS202DEV1.0 includes a built-in voltage-configurable and unbreakable dummy laser diode on the board. The dummy laser allows users to emulate an expensive real laser diode first, helping reduce the risk of damaging the real laser during circuit testing or improper operation.
After confirming that the driver works properly and the programmed values meet the application requirements, users can disconnect the dummy laser by flipping a switch and connect a real diode laser through the proper board connections. The board also allows users to set and monitor the output current and monitor the working status of the laser driver.
The ATLS202DEV1.0 evaluation board includes a complete application circuit for driving laser diodes, an LED for indicating driver working status, and multiple connection pads and terminal connectors for external components and instruments. The ATLS202DEV1.0 is 100% lead (Pb)-free and RoHS compliant.
