The LDA1-CP1-D is a dual mode laser diode driver designed for driving P-type (common-anode) laser diodes, supporting constant current and constant power modes, capable of driving up to 2A laser diodes with low output noise. It operates from a 3.0V ~ 5.5V power supply and delivers stable current output across a 0V ~ 5V load voltage range, with output noise <0.05% RMS @2A (0.1Hz ~ 10Hz).
With ≥90% PWM efficiency, the LDA1-CP1-D requires no heat sink, and integrates a built-in 2.5V high-stability low-noise reference voltage that can be used for setting the output current and as voltage references for external ADCs and DACs. It is suitable for applications including DPSSL, EDFA, and Instrumentation Diode Lasers.
