Product Overview
The IMU-1221-R02-232 is a six-axis inertial measurement unit. It combines MEMS gyroscopes and accelerometers, and reports the angular rate and the acceleration of a moving carrier. A six-state Kalman filter estimates the data deviation, so the unit can be used for attitude measurement while the carrier is in motion or under vibration.
Gyro bias stability is below 2°/h over a 100-second average and below 150°/h over a 10-second average. The measurement range is ±400°/s with 0.01°/s resolution. Nonlinear, quadrature, temperature and drift compensation are applied inside the unit. The module measures 55×37×24mm, runs from 5 VDC, and operates from -40 to +85°C.
It is used on dump trucks, balance vehicles, stabilized platforms, AGVs, marine survey equipment, underwater robots, robots, and unmanned aircraft.
