AD210JNATI 3-Port Isolation Amplifier, AD210JN Replacement, 1500V rms, DIP

The AD210JNATI is a wide-bandwidth three-port isolation amplifier for applications where an input signal must be measured, processed or transmitted without a galvanic connection. Input, output and power ports are isolated from one another in a compact DIP package.

Analog Devices discontinued the AD210 family in October 2022, with final shipments in October 2024, and named no replacement part and no pin-compatible alternative. The AD210JNATI is an upgraded drop-in replacement for the AD210JN: the pinout and footprint are unchanged, so no board modification is required. It is RoHS compliant, which the original part was not, and our datasheet guarantees production for at least ten years.

It suits multichannel data acquisition, current shunt measurement, process signal isolation and high voltage instrumentation, and other applications calling for isolated analog measurement.

The AD210JNATI achieves both signal and power isolation through internal transformer coupling, removing the external isolated DC-DC converter from the design and reducing board space, component count and overall system cost.

Powered from a single 15 V DC supply, the AD210JNATI makes ±15 V at ±5 mA available at both the input and the output sections, enough to run floating signal conditioners, front-end amplifiers or remote transducers. An uncommitted input operational amplifier allows buffering or gain to be added without extra parts.
