Product Overview

The ARS-8878-R11 is a 9-axis attitude and heading reference system (AHRS). It fuses a three-axis gyroscope, accelerometer and magnetometer to report heading, pitch and roll, with heading accuracy of ≤0.05° and pitch / roll accuracy of ≤0.05°. It is calibrated on a turntable before delivery and supports field self-calibration and IAP firmware upgrade.
When strong magnetic interference is detected, for example from robot motors, the algorithm reduces the magnetometer weight or switches to 6-axis mode, then resumes 9-axis fusion when the interference ends. The module measures 31.5×28×13mm and operates from -40 to +85°C. It is suitable for humanoid and quadruped robots, collaborative robots, motion capture, and low-speed unmanned vehicles.
