The EC-6313-R08-TTL is a high-precision electronic compass for heading and attitude measurement. It integrates an industrial-grade microcontroller, a high-precision magnetic sensor, a dedicated driver chip, and a three-axis accelerometer for real-time tilt compensation. Hard and soft magnetic calibration keeps heading data accurate in magnetically difficult environments.
Static measurement accuracy reaches ±0.25°. An extended Kalman filter provides real-time attitude output, and an offset tracking algorithm removes drift. The compass is built for static measurement and holds its accuracy in the presence of fixed magnetic interference. It measures 33×31×13.55mm, runs from 5 VDC, and operates from -40 to +85°C.
Typical uses include satellite tracking, petroleum geological well surveys, optical rangefinders, GPS-assisted navigation, personal equipment, marine survey, underwater navigation, and night vision devices. RS232 and TTL versions are available.
