The AT9452 is a monolithic step-down switch-mode converter with a built-in 500mΩ power MOSFET, delivering 1.0A peak output current over a wide 5V to 40V input range. Current-mode operation provides fast transient response and eases loop stabilization.
The AT9452 achieves high light-load efficiency through frequency scaling, and includes frequency folding to prevent inductor current runaway at startup. Low shutdown quiescent current (<2µA) suits battery-powered systems. It is available in ESOP-8 package for enhanced thermal performance.
