Product Overview
The ATLS218EV2.0 is a laser driver evaluation board developed for ATLSxA218D series constant-current laser drivers. It provides a convenient platform for evaluating high-efficiency laser drivers used for driving one or multiple laser diode arrays.
This evaluation board is designed for use with ATLS15A218D laser driver modules and other ATLSxA218D series drivers. These drivers are shielded in a metal case, emit zero EMI, and are packaged in a compact DIP package for constant-current laser diode and laser diode array driving.
The ATLS218EV2.0 consists of a complete application circuit for configuring an ATLSxA218D laser driver. It allows users to set the output current and output current limit conveniently through two on-board potentiometers, W1 and W2.
The board provides a versatile interface for all necessary measurement nodes. Numerous connection pads and terminal connectors are located on the board edges, allowing connections to external components and instruments by soldering wires or using alligator clips.
The ATLS218EV2.0 also includes terminal blocks on the left, top, and right sides of the board, with connectors tied to the same nodes as the solder pads. An on-board LED is provided in the upper middle of the board to indicate proper controller operation. The ATLS218EV2.0 is 100% lead (Pb)-free and RoHS compliant.
