Product Overview
The ATLS214EV1.0 is a laser driver evaluation board developed for ATLSxA214D series constant-current laser drivers. It provides a convenient platform for evaluating high-efficiency laser drivers used for driving one or multiple laser diode arrays.
This evaluation board is designed for use with ATLS4A214D, ATLS6A214D, and ATLS8A214D laser driver modules. These drivers feature high reliability, zero EMI, and a compact DIP package for low-noise constant-current laser diode driving.
The ATLS214EV1.0 provides solder pads, terminal blocks, testing holes, banana sockets, and multi-meter lead sockets for convenient connection to external circuits, instruments, dummy laser loads, and real laser diodes. The output ports LDA and LDC can be connected to a dummy laser diode, a real laser diode, or the ATLS214DLD1.0 dummy laser load assembly.
The board allows users to set and monitor the laser driver output current. Two on-board potentiometers can be used to set the lower and upper values of the set-point current, while external control signals can also be used for laser driver current modulation. The LISL and LISH control ports are selectable on the board, and the LIO pin can be used for output current monitoring.
The ATLS214EV1.0 also includes an LED for indicating proper driver operation, an LPGD status monitoring pin, and a three-position mode switch for Shutdown, Standby, and Operating modes. After confirming that the driver works properly and the set values meet the application requirements, users can connect a real diode laser to the proper board connections. The ATLS214EV1.0 is 100% lead (Pb)-free and RoHS compliant.
