ATE1-19 TEC Modules

This TEC (Thermoelectric Cooler) module, ATE1-19, has 19 pairs of Peltier elements inside with a maximum voltage of 2.3 Volt, as shown in Table 1 below. They are designed
for regulating the temperature of the target objects precisely and can be controlled by our TEC controllers to build highly stable and efficient temperature regulating systems. The
This series of TEC (Thermoelectric Cooler) modules,ATE1-127, has 127 pairs of Peltier elements inside with amaximum voltage of 15.4 Volt, there are several options formaximum current, resulting in different power gratings, asshown in Table 1 below. They are designed for regulatingthe temperature of the target objects precisely and can becontrolled by our TEC controllers to build highly stable andefficient temperature regulating systems. The ATE1-127series TECs can be used with our thermistors as well toachieve precise and stable temperature sensing. The ATE1-127 series TECs come in with highly flat bareceramic surfaces on the both sides, they can be mountedonto flat metal surfaces by inserting thin layers of thermallyconductive filler materials, the so-called thermal pads, orplacing a thin layer of thermal paste. When mounting, makesure that proper pressure is applied constantly to keep goodthermal contacting between the metal and the TEC plates, minimizing thermal resistance between them. The TECs can withstand strong orthogonal forces applied tothe surface, but very vulnerable to tangent forces, especiallyshocking tangent forces. A small shocking tangent force cancause the Peltier elements crack inside. The crack may notcause operation problem initially, but it will grow with time, causing the TEC resistance to increase slowly, by the end,the TEC will stop operating. In the part number, for example, ATE1-127-xAS, “2A”indicate the maximum current allowed for entering the TECmodule. “S” represents sealed version. All of them canachieve a maximum temperature difference, DTMAX, of68°C.
