TEC modules are the essential components for keeping the laser chips working at a constant temperature, thus, the lasers will have constant output wavelength, power and less or no mode hopping.
ATI's Thermistors can be used with our TEC controllers for high stability low drift temperature control applications. These thermistors have high precision (+/-0.25C@25C), compact size. They come in bare and lugged forms.
ATI's Thermo-Electric Cooler (TEC) Drivers / Controllers have these features: high efficiency, high stability, high reliability and compact sizes.

TEC Modules / Peltier modules

TEC modules are the essential components for keeping the laser chips working at a constant temperature

TEC modules ( Peltier modules) Thermo-Electric Cooler, can generate both heating and cooling power by input electric DC current. When the current flows in one direction, one of the thermo-electric cooler plates generates heat while the other generates “cold”. As the current reverses the direction, the TEC plates will reverse their relative relationship in temperature. ATI has 35 different modules to choose from. Max. current from 600mA to 24A and Tdmax from 65° to 70°

TECEV104 Eval Board

ATI's TEC controller Evaluation board

The TEC Controller Evaluation Board TECEV104 is consisted of a complete tunable compensation network and application circuit for using our TECA1 series TEC controller to drive a TEC. It can set the output voltage limit, tune the compensation network, set the set-point temperature, has an LED for indicating the temperature loop stat-us of the controller, and has numerous connection pads for making connections with external components and instruments. It is 100 % lead (Pb)-free and RoHS compliant.
